Can Colonix Actually Help You?

Before we start though, I’d like to be honest and tell you that I receive review copies of the products I review on this website and will be compensated for any sales made through my recommendation. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t tell you about some of the problems and negative aspects of each product.

Colonix Testimonials

Claiming over a million customers and 2000 authentic verified testimonials, the Dr Natura company advertises their Colonix colon cleansing program as follows: “The Colonix Program gently but effectively cleanses the colon of toxic waste, detoxifies the liver and restores regularity while helping you to gain more energy and a flatter stomach.”

The Colonix Product

The product contains a 12g propriety blend of psyllium husk, flax seed, fennel seed, licorice root, papaya fruit, grapefruit pectin, slippery elm bark, Althea root, rhubarb root, guar gum, alfalfa, peppermint leaf, uva ursi leaf and aloe vera. These are all products which are traditionally associated with the relief and natural healing of stomach complaints, bloating, constipation and discomfort.

All of the ingredients are individually successfully used in the treatment of various digestive conditions, and have a traditional ‘pedigree’ in their own right.

Some provide additional bulk, others soothe the digestive system, yet others promote blood supply to the affected area. Certain plants and herbs promote the natural muscle contractions necessary to move the bulk along in the intestines and bowel.

Other ingredients are 100% pure stevia extract and banana flavor. Stevia is used as either a natural sweetener or a dietary supplement, depending on where you are in the world.

The Colonix Intestinal Cleaner

The Colonix Intestinal Cleanser contains both insoluble and soluble natural fiber. Soluble fiber is reported to help cleanse the blood of toxins, and insoluble fiber is used to help clear the digestive system of waste and toxins. The ingredients are designed to swell up and create a mass which passes through the system, moving waste matter as it goes.

Trying this product brought about some positive effects, including an increase in vitality and a feeling of physical well-being, but that was accompanied by serious headaches which stayed for days, a change in bowel movements and a need to increase by multiple times, the daily intake of fluids to counteract the constipation that was experienced.

Colonix can cause stomach cramps, bloating, nausea, earaches and fatigue.

Colonix Find More About

Over use of Psyllium husk has long been associated with the development of bowel problems. Overuse is proven to cause the development of polyps. While the polyps in themselves may not be an issue, it is known in medical circles that polyps can become traumatized, and can also become cancerous.

While Stevia is allowed as a food supplement in Canada and has been used as a sweetener in Japan for more than 30 years, it is not recognized as such in the USA and in certain parts of Europe.
