Colon Cleanse System
If you’ve been considering cleansing your colon, you may have come across the term “colon cleanse system” on the internet or at the health food store. Since there are many ways to cleanse your colon, it’s good to know the terminology that’s used.
A colon cleanse system would be a Step 1 – Step 2 – Step 3 type of system that you do in an orderly fashion to get the best results. By the end of Step 3, you should be done with the colon cleanse and you should have your colon cleansed.
A colon cleanse system usually contains different products. It may include:
• An introductory product which loosens up the bowel’s contents. This way they
can be readily evacuated. This type of product might include herbs, fruits,
vegetables, or enzymes.
• A follow-up product that cleanses more deeply. The follow-up product may
have herbs in it that specifically cleanse the liver as well as herbs for the colon.
• A final product that contains probiotics, those friendly bacteria that live in your
colon. These probiotics maintain peace and harmony, and create war with
any bacteria that could cause disease.
Many colon cleanse systems now include even more than just the products listed above because the best results possible are always intended. To do that, they may add:
• A book about the colon cleansing process
• Another book that contains testimonials from people who cleansed their colons
with the colon cleanse system
• An enema bulb, so that you can give yourself enemas for additional cleansing
• A one quart enema kit that can be used either for enemas or for douches
• A six-pack of prune juice, just in case you need quick relief
• A DVD showing you how to use the two or three products in the Stepwise
fashion
• A DVD showing you how to use an enema kit or an enema bulb
• Special instructions for those who want to use colon cleansing techniques on
their children
• A separate booklet that discusses who should not use a colon cleansing system
and why
The list of items on this list could be potentially endless. It’s really up to the imagination of the product designer.
Colon Cleanse System or Product Off the Shelf?
Using a colon cleanse system is a good way to start colon cleansing if you have never done it before. This is true because you will need some guidance. Cleansing your colon on your own without any help can actually be dangerous.
For example, if you’re giving yourself an enema, it’s possible that you could puncture your colon with the plastic applicator if you jam it into your rectum without lubricating it. Although the possibility of this happening is pretty slim, it still could happen.
The biggest reason why using a colon cleanse system is beneficial is that a system will walk you through what to expect and discuss why some things occur. If you don’t know that it’s possible that you could have more bloating and gas in the first few days of a colon cleanse, you’re more apt to give up and forget it altogether. If you know that you will most likely have bloating and gas for only a few days, it becomes easier to deal with and less of a concern.
Evaluate at least three different colon cleanse systems before making your final decision. And then get to work – clean your colon!
